New BARC (R) Service Installation In Oak Harbor, Ohio

Economic Development Data Services are please to announce the installment of our first BARC® Electric in Ohio on the Village of Oak Harbor website.  The BARC® Electric is at  http://www.cdjconsulting.net/oakharbor/calculator_oakharbor_elec_OB.php.  This BARC® model has two new features: (1) a calculation model for municipal electric utilities and (2) the introduction of a Storm Water Utility calculation.

The addition of these two components continue the development of a “cost-of-doing business” financial model for site selectors, businesses, looking to relocate and businesses looking to locate an expansion.  Why is this important?  Because according to site selectors with whom we have shared our models have told us that from 10% – 30% of location equations are dependent upon finding this information.  This is the only model like this in the US and it will help your clients in determining key locational decision factors.
